I got up this morning and made breakfast, which is a rarity here during the week! What is wrong with me? Weird, I just felt like cooking...at 6:30 in the morning!

Daughter left this morning for New Orleans. She is a funny girl. Last night the family she is going with told her that they were going to put all the luggage on top of the vehicle. Well, she worried all night that her suitcase was going to fly off and she would loose all her clothes! I had to keep reassuring her that it would be okay! I can't wait to hear all about the trip! Though it is so funny, with cell phones you can keep in such constant contact! I can remember going away with friends and not even speaking to my parents until I returned! I've already received several texts from her.

Yesterday after I finished the "gig" at the school, I headed out to find daughter some sandals that she could wear with her dress to the ball. I had totally forgotten about the shoes until I was getting ready to leave the house yesterday. I ended up going to several places, grabbing shoes in her size and bringing them all home for her to try on! We found a pair that fit and that she likes, so this morning I returned all the others. Then I popped in a few stores and took a look at some of the new merchandise that is out. TJ Maxx had the cutest Lily Pulitzer nightshirts for $24! I didn't get one, but now think I may go back tomorrow and if they are still there, get one! Too cute to pass up!

It's a gorgeous day outside, so I think I may go sit outside on the deck and eat my lunch!
