We are starting to feel the effects of Irene, here along the coast of SC.
Our kids went to school and then at 10:00 am I received a call saying they were going to dismiss at noon today because we may have high wind gusts later today! UGH! Way to ruin my Friday!
The rain started about 1 1/2 hours ago. It rains, then it stops, then it rains, then it stops! That's those outer bands coming on shore.

Same thing here...just got the day started when the early dismissal call came...hardly got anything accomplished.
