Sixteen year old son, who has never displayed an ounce of maturity, just asked husband if he and some friends could head up to the lake house, spend the night and come back tomorrow.

OH I am feeling your pain! My 15 year old just asked to go to a group bonfire (aka: party) with friends and sleep over at another friends house...who's parents are not home... definitely a 'heck' no to the sleep over. Aren't these touchy times!
