Today I was able to meet one of my blog friends in real life! Belle from Life of a Southern Belle, lives not very far from me and we had decided that we needed to meet for lunch one day. So today was the day and it was so funny because I felt like I was getting ready for a blind date! You know... does my hair look okay, what if we have nothing to talk about , etc! We met at 11:30 at a little restaurant in my town that we both like. And do you know we didn't even look at our watches until my teens starting calling(it was 2:00!) me asking when I was going to be home! (I didn't tell them what I was doing, just that I had a meeting to go to!)
I had a great time talking and getting to know Belle and found that we are similar in many ways and weren't lacking for things to talk about! Hopefully we'll be able to get together again and perhaps even have some other blog friends join us!

ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a fun time. I've been reading your blog for a while and live in the Charleston area but just started my own personal blog. I had commented on your blog a while ago from my family scrapbook blog but it had too much personal information on it for normal blogging purposes so I finally started my own separate blog.
